I am so excited to be at Pioneer High School and can't wait for the year to start!
I was born in Pembroke Ontario Canada. I attended Queen's University in Kingston Ontario and graduated in 1996 with my Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree. I obtained my Texas RN license and moved to McAllen in August 1996 to begin my nursing career. I have had many opportunities throughout the years and have worked in home health and as a case manager, working with pediatric and special needs populations. I have been an instructor at STC in the LVN and Patient Care Programs and have been a school nurse at elementary, middle and high school levels. I have also been a state auditor of home health and hospice agencies. I am a mom of 3 girls and a wife of 25 years (and counting). I am excited to be part of the leadership of our HOSA program and anxious to meet the students.
