Regional Leadership Conference

 

This year’s Fall Leadership Conference was a two-day event held at South Texas College (STC).

The conference was held January 11 & 12, 2018 and BPA students participated in individual and team events.  Those individuals and teams that placed will be advancing to state which is going to be held in Corpus Christi February 28 – March 3, 2018.  Those who continue will advance to Nationals and represent Pioneer High School at the National Conference which is in Dallas Texas May 9 – 13. 

 

Twelve students will be advancing to state competition in March.

Texas NLC Results:  Texas was recognized with 654 contest entries, 118 made the top 10, 40 made the podium, 17 3rd place, 8 2nd place, and 15 1st place.  We would also like to recognize the amazing Texas entries that swept the Virtual Showcase this year.  We also had 80 Ambassador Torch Award Winners. Congratulations to those who were recognized for their community service through the Presidential award and also chapter awards.  Texas BPA, you make us all proud!
