Pioneer High School Prom

Theme:            Mystery Masquerade

Location:          Mario’s Banquet Hall

Date:                Saturday, April 29, 2017

Time:               Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Colors:             Black, Gold, Amethyst

Tickets:            Tickets will go on sale after Spring Break. Tickets will be $45 per person if bought separately, $80.00 per couple. Students must be present and have their school ID in order to purchase tickets. Tickets will be sold in Room 164. Cash and personal checks will be accepted. Please make checks out to Sharyland Pioneer Junior Class. ‚ÄčIf you purchased Prom tickets your junior year, you will not need to pay for your ticket this year. If your date purchased a ticket junior year, they will not need to pay for their ticket. If your date did NOT pay for a ticket junior year at PHS, they will need to purchase a ticket. ALL will need a ticket to enter. Come by room 164 to pick up yours.

 Attire:              Sharyland Pioneer High School Prom is a formal event. Dress code rules and expectations will be enforced at all times. Formal/Semi-Formal events exceptions: Gentlemen are required to wear jackets and ties. Ladies are allowed to wear evening attire. Denim will not be permitted.

Reminder:        The following areas of concern regarding dress are not permitted:

  • Dresses exposing midriff (exposed stomachs)
  • Dresses having slits 3 inches above the knee
  • Dresses having bare backs below the waist line
  • Dresses shorter than 3 inches above the knee

Please refer to the Student/Parent Handbook for additional dress code information at www.sharylandisd.org Students who are in violation of the dress code will be asked to depart from the event.

 

Conduct:    The rules of good conduct and dress code will be observed at all social events, banquets, etc. held outside of the regular school day. If guests are allowed, they will observe the same rules as students attending the event, and the person inviting them will share responsibilities for the conduct of the guest. A student attending an event may be asked to sign out when leaving before the end of the event; anyone leaving the event before the official end of the event, will not be readmitted (Student/Parent Handbook).

  • Students must bring their ID card to Prom. Students must also have their Prom ticket until the end of the event.
  • These are all policies for Sharyland Pioneer High School functions; all school rules apply. Smoking and drinking are not permitted.
  • Any student bringing a guest that is not enrolled at Pioneer High School will be required to have a copy of their valid picture ID prior to Prom. They must also bring their ID to prom. * NEW POLICY
  • Due to the fact that Prom is an off campus event, students will not be permitted to go back to their vehicles once they have already entered the event.
  • Once students leave the ballroom, they will not be allowed to return.
  • Mario’s Banquet Hall will be closed at 12:00 a.m. all guests will be required to leave at that time.
