PIONEER HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION

2017-2018   SCHOOL YEAR

MONDAY, AUGUST 28, 2017

Required Documentation:

  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Original Social Security Card (if any)
  • Immunization card (must be up-to-date)
  • Proof of residence: previous month or current LIGHT BILL ONLY with parent or guardian name
    • Multi-Residence: Must have notarized letter from home owner, copy of homeowner’s ID, light bill must match name on notarized letter.
    • No light bill available: rental contract with parent or guardian name on contract.
  • Parent or Guardian identification
  • For Guardianship: AUTHORIZATION AGREEMENT FOR NONPARENT RELATIVE OR VOLUNTARY CAREGIVER form filed with Hidalgo County Court. Must provide receipt.
  • Academic records from previous school.
    • Up-to-date transcript to verify credits for accurate grade level placement.
    • Incoming 9th graders: 8th grade final report card indicating PROMOTED.
  • Students coming from a school outside of the United States will need to take a OLPT (oral language proficiency test) placement test on the day they register or to be scheduled.
