Welcome to a great year! I am ecstatic about an
amazing new year! Although, it may be different, we are going to make the best of it! Wonderful school, GREAT traditions,
but same expectations of EXCELLENCE!

I have been teaching 24 years, twenty, with Sharyland ISD. I am a graduate from the University of Texas Pan American, where I received a degree in Arts and Humanities: English major, Spanish minor.

I teach  Advanced Journalism (The Dynasty Yearbook),
ESL, and English IV. I am also the head cheerleading coach of the 2018 UIL Spirit State Champions and sid time UIL Category State Champions.

Getting to know me...

When I am not teaching or coaching, I spend all my time
with my family and/or church. I have been married to my
husband for 28 years. I am the mother of three amazing
children. I enjoy Sundays with my entire family. I am
passionate about being a part of Pioneer High School,
whether it is teaching or coaching, or just helping out –
I am proud to be a DIAMONDBACK!
