On January 6th, PHS Junior, Isaiah Rivera was named the Business Professionals of America Area 2 Region 4 Regional President.
To run as a Regional President candidate, students must be in good standing with their school, be an active BPA member, and follow all the rules and procedures set forth by the BPA association.
Isaiah is in the top 10% of his class with a 3.8 GPA. He is the current PHS BPA Chapter Business Coordinator, Junior Class Secretary, Head Light Technician for the Pioneer Alpha Theatre Troupe, is a Wind Ensemble member and Section leader for the Pioneer Diamondback Band, competes in UIL One Act Play, Prose and Poetry, and Accounting. He is also the founder of Isaiah's Inchworms, a tutoring business aiming to provide students with academic success through sessions in multiple subjects.
Isaiah conducted a successful officer candidate rally on January 5th during the Area 2 Region 4 Regional Leadership Conference which took place at South Texas College in McAllen, TX earning a large number of chapter delegate votes.
Isaiah will now be representing Sharyland Pioneer High School and all of the Area 2 Region 4 chapters at this year's BPA State Leadership Conference which will take place in Dallas, Texas on March 2nd thru March 5th.
Isaiah will also be leading BPA Area 2 Region 4 members through a series of enriching leadership sessions during the 2023-2024 Fall Leadership Conference being hosted at PHS.
The PHS BPA advisors and members are very proud of Isaiah on this great accomplishment.
