Hello, I’m am Coach David Duty.  I have been recently hired as a Physical Education Teacher and  Offensive Coordinator for your  Sharyland Pioneer Diamondbacks football team.

I’ve spent 31 years in education teaching Health, Teen Leadership, Psychology and Physical Education. 

I  have one son, Dustin, that is also new to Sharyland Pioneer. He will be as a Senior this 2024-2025 school year.

I am married to Linda Banda Duty. She is a Retired Teacher serving 32 years in education.

I have served five school districts in my career: Rio Grande City, Hidalgo, PSJA, Brownsville and now Sharyland.

Coach Duty and his family reside in Mission and Sharyland ISD.
