Hello, I’m am Coach David Duty. I have been recently hired as a Physical Education Teacher and Offensive Coordinator for your Sharyland Pioneer Diamondbacks football team.
I’ve spent 30 years in education teaching Health, Teen Leadership, Psychology and Physical Education.
I have one son, Dustin, that is also new to Sharyland Pioneer. He will be as a junior this 2023-2024 school year.
I am married to Linda Banda Duty. She is currently a Reading Specialist who is beginning her 32nd year at La Joya ISD.
I have served five school districts in my career: Rio Grande City, Hidalgo, PSJA, Brownsville and now Sharyland.
Coach Duty and his family reside in Mission and Sharyland ISD.
My Schedule is as Follows:
1st Block: FOOTBALL ATHLETICS AT SHARYLAND NORTH JUNIOR HIGH
2nd Block: PHYSICAL EDUCATION
3rd Block: FOOTBALL ATHLETICS AT SHARYLAND PIONEER.
4th Block: CONFERENCE
5th Block: ISS
