Welcome to a great year! I am ecstatic about an
amazing new year! Although, it may be different, we are going to make the best of it! Wonderful school, GREAT traditions,
but same expectations of EXCELLENCE and perserverence!

I have been teaching 21 years this up coming year, seventeen with
Sharyland ISD. I am a graduate from the University of Texas
Pan American, where I received a degree in Arts and Humanities:
English major, Spanish minor.

I teach Journalism I-IV (which is our school's newspaper,
The Venom), Advanced Journalism (The Dynasty Yearbook),
English III, English I. I am also the head cheerleading coach
to your 2018 5A UIL State Champion, 2019 5A UIL
State Silver Medalist cheer team, 2020 5A UIL State Bronze Medalist team.

Getting to know me...

When I am not teaching or coaching, I spend all my time
with my family and/or church. I have been married to my
husband for 26 years. I am the mother of three amazing
children.I enjoy Sundays with my entire family. I am
passionate about being a part of Pioneer High School,
whether it is teaching or coaching, or just helping out –
I am proud to be a DIAMONDBACK!
